I take pride in the fact that I am a local business, even if I’m not in your hometown. I still know what it’s like to talk with automated customer service and have to dial a 800 number. That’s not who I am. When you need me, I’m here. When you call, I answer.

Tyler graduated high school in ‘06, shortly after he became an underground coal miner where he worked for nearly 9 years. For those nine years he dreamed of owning a business, but it just seemed so far away. During the mining shut downs he left the mines and gained a job as a sales representative for a large insurance company. This is when photography became more than a hobby. The more work he did, the more people inquired about him. Finally one day it clicked, “ I’m chasing down business ideas when I have a business waiting to take off right in my camera bag”. So Tyler Helton Photography was officially born.
